Employee Relations

We provide employee relations advice on all matters from sickness advice, disciplinary and grievance. Nothing is too big or too small. We are there to advise and support you throughout these processes and guide you with template letters and scripts for meetings that you may be having with your employees.

We will also keep you up to date with any employment law changes through emails and regular calls.

E-Learning

Elston HR are proud to partner with an e-Learning provider called IHASCO to ensure we deliver top quality e-Learning training to our clients. Most of our clients are small to medium businesses who do not want to sign up to large e-Learning contracts. We can provide you with 5 to 10 modules for each of your employees charged per employee, so it is much more cost effective.

You will also be safe in the knowledge that you will be fully compliant with all the most recent and up-to-date legislation that is constantly changing. At the end of each course each person who completes the course gets a certificate that can be saved on their personnel file and can be used for Company auditing purposes.

The courses are accredited and are accessible on any device. The courses can also be available in over 30 languages.

At the end of each training session, you will be asked to answer several questions to ensure you have learnt and retained information from the training.

Handbooks and Policies

We can provide you with a handbook and policies to suit your business needs and we can update these on a regular basis to ensure you stay compliant. The handbook and policies will be fit for purpose for your business. Some businesses may prefer to introduce a culture book rather than rules in the form of a handbook – this is something we could support and introduce for you.

Day-to-Day Support

We are there on the other end of the phone or email to answer any queries you may have with regards to any employee relations scenarios that may have come up within your business. We can also be available to visit you onsite and for some businesses they require us to have regular time onsite on a weekly or monthly basis.

HR Audits

At the start of the contract we can audit your HR processes to see where you are with your HR compliance. This involves auditing personnel files, any HR systems you may have, contracts of employment, employee pay and holiday pay and anything else that falls under the HR audit. This helps us understand what work needs to be done to ensure you are compliant. We can then do a health check once a year to ensure your managers are keeping the data safe.

Wellbeing

Claire is a qualified Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England and Mental Health Practitioner. Claire likes to support employees with their wellbeing and can do an audit of individuals’ stress management. Elston HR provide a number of wellbeing training modules, such as:
